Real estate is local and what’s happening with housing nationwide is different than what’s occurring in New England. Yes, sales have slowed, rates are high, and many prospects are on the sidelines, but housing will continue to remain an incredible investment in the Northeast.
The supply of homes in 2022 is at 1,250,000. It would take 3.2 months to sell this inventory at our current rate of sales. In 2008, the supply of homes was over 3,400,000.
With over 1.7 million households being created each year, we don’t have the national inventory to keep up.
